For more than a century, the apple and pear orchards of Spreyton have been part of Tasmania’s rich fruit-growing story. Since 1908, five generations of our family have grown premium apples, pears and cherries here. That long history helped shape the region’s reputation for quality fruit and authentic Tasmanian produce.
In 2012, that orchard legacy evolved into something new. Spreyton Cider Co. was born, transforming decades of fruit-growing knowledge into a modern beverage business built on real fruit, real flavour and a true orchard-to-glass philosophy.
Today, another evolution is underway.

This is more than a packaging refresh. Spreyton is becoming a modern Tasmanian beverage business, one built on innovation, orchard-grown fruit and a genuine love of great drinks.
While cider remains at the heart of the business, the range has grown well beyond the orchard. Today it includes award-winning ginger beer, ready-to-drink beverages, sparkling non-alcoholic drinks, premium juices, sparkling waters, vinegar products and an upcoming craft beer range.
Our transformation has only just begun. New cans will be released as the current cans sell through, so keep an eye out for the fresh new look arriving soon.
