We bought home Gold

We Brought Home the Gold and Best in Class!

There’s a special kind of pride that comes from seeing hard work, patience, and passion recognised — and this week, the team at Spreyton Cider Co is celebrating in the best way possible.

Our New World Cider – Classic Dry has been awarded Gold, named Best in Class, and scored an outstanding 93 out of 100 at the 2025 Australian Cider Awards. It is a huge honour and a reflection of the dedication that goes into every bottle we craft.

From Orchard to Glass

Every drop of our Classic Dry begins right here in Spreyton. Our apples are grown, picked, and pressed on-site, ensuring that each cider we make stays true to its Tasmanian roots. With its crisp, clean finish and refreshingly dry style, the Classic Dry perfectly captures what we love about cider — a pure expression of fresh Tasmanian fruit, balanced with modern craftsmanship.

Winning Best in Class for a New World Cider is more than a medal for us. It’s recognition of our fruit-forward approach, our commitment to quality, and the skill of the people who bring it all together — from the orchard team who nurture the apples to the cider makers who craft every batch with care.

A True Team Effort

This award belongs to everyone who makes Spreyton Cider Co what it is. Our orchard crew, our cider makers, our cellar door team, and everyone who helps us share our cider with the world — each person plays a part in this success.

We are beyond proud of our Tasmanian heritage, and this achievement is a reminder that great things happen when passion meets craftsmanship.

So here’s to Tasmanian cider done right — crisp, honest, and proudly homegrown.
