Spreyton Solstice 2026 | Winter Festival Tasmania

off the press

Spreyton Solstice 2026 marked the beginning of one of Tasmania’s most unique winter events, bringing together live music, great food, award-winning Tasmanian cider and an unforgettable celebration of the winter solstice on Saturday, 20 June 2026.

Held at Spreyton Cider Co. in North West Tasmania, the inaugural event attracted hundreds of visitors who enjoyed seven heavy metal bands, locally crafted beverages, delicious food and the spectacular burning of The Orchard Man. Set in our family orchard, the event offered a truly unique Tasmanian experience.

As darkness fell on the longest night of the year, the orchard came alive with live music, roaring fires and an incredible atmosphere before reaching its dramatic finale as The Orchard Man lit up the winter sky. Thank you to everyone who joined us, including our bands, volunteers, staff and supporters, for making the inaugural Spreyton Solstice such a memorable success.

Planning is already underway for Spreyton Solstice 2027, and we look forward to welcoming visitors back to Spreyton Cider Co. for another unforgettable winter festival in Tasmania.
